Christina Cushing is a London-based multimedia artist working with film installation and 3D Printing.
Poetic and surreal, her artwork manipulates the relationship between image and language through the screen; looking at the role of absurdity in meaning-making, and how we portray intimacy without physicality. Using stream of consciousness and semiotics, her films explore themes of love, mortality, and the desire to transcend the physical body.
She is also curatorial assistant at 180 The Strand and helped to co-found artist led project space CHAOS MAGIC.
