Christina Cushing คริสติน่า คูสซิ่ง (she/her) is a Thai-British visual artist and curator based in London. Working primarily with computer-generated animation and eye tracking, her practice examines interconnections of technology, consciousness, constructed mythologies, speculative fiction, and non-human intelligence. Her recent work unravels contemporary ways of seeing through diagrams, gaze plotting and attention heat maps.

Cushing has shown at Nottingham Contemporary, DIGI-GXL, Institute of Coding, The Crypt Gallery, French Riviera, Kunstpodium T, Anise Gallery, A Place to Rest, Worlding Projects, Standard Studios, Surface Gallery, and Bohunk Institute, in addition to solo shows at Two Queens Gallery and Q T Gallery. Her work has also been featured in publications including Ignota’s ‘Full Moon Journal’, DAZED Digital, and ‘Transformer: A Rebirth of Wonder’ published by Vinyl Factory.

In addition to her artistic practice, Cushing has worked with curatorial teams at 180 Studios, DAZED, ICA and Ignota Books. She was an original co-founder of arts project space Chaos Magic based in Nottingham, and has worked as assistant to established artists Evan Ifekoya and Joey Holder. She continues to work with 180 Studios and ICA on a freelance basis.
